Well, Charlie called a 3 turn TAT, with # 38-20 miles, # 37-25 miles
and #16-25 miles then home. It was for 3 hrs, with a 8,000 agl start
height. I didn't hear of any landouts, somewhere around 25-30 took
tows. Alot of starts around 1:30 to 1:45, with opens going a little
later. Around 5 pm it went dry, but most of the day gave 3-5 kt climbs,
with lift going to 9-10 msl. Later around Jal, just before it went dry,
climbs to 11 thousand. Some said climbs were broken, and everyone is
home. A few more to pull in tomorrow, scorer is working on scores now,
but some cut corners early to get home. Thermal tight, Soar high, Fly
safe, # 711 reporting.

Damn ! I thought it was an assigned task ! No wonder I didn't see
anybody.
Task length to center of each area (ie, turnpoint) was about 280 miles.
I was slow at around 70mph and 4 hours. Some honkin stuff and some
"challenging" areas.
Tomorrow I'll read the task sheet more carefully.
See ya, Dave YO
